Growing up on a farm, I have seen and lived through many struggles my dad and other South African farmer families face. I am very vocal on the issue of farm murders in SA, however; I could only do só much to raise awareness. So, I am trying something different to keep the Boere around for longer…
Statistics show that between 2010 – 2018, South Africa has lost more farmers due to cancer than from farm murders. I decided to extend my efforts of support by helping a Boer take care of his skin.

This is my most sentimental product as it was inspired by my dad, a Boer who refused to wear sunscreen because he hates the feeling of it on his skin!
I formulated a SPF50 sunblock that does not burn his eyes / makes him sweat more / lets all the farm residues stick to him.
Originally formulated for a Boer, ASVNB can be used by anyone who prefers a non-sticky, non-greasy, non-oily, fast absorbing, and lightweight sunblock.

As farmers spend their entire day in the sun, skin cancer has become more prevalent within the South African Farmer Community. South Africa already lost so many farmers due to farm murders; we cannot afford to lose more due to skin cancer. The daily application of sunblock is so important in combating skin cancer.
